Motor City Furry Convention is Michigan's 18+ anthropomorphic appreciation convention, for furries and furry fans alike. Come register at either Sponsor or Super Sponsor level and let our expert lounge staff show you why people come to party with us year after year. We have great panels, board games, video games, events, and so much more. This con is a labor of love and we aim to share that with all our guests. So come experience all the fun!

It's come to our attention that dragons happen to enjoy munching on parchment and one decided to snack on our calendars...
After sorting through the leftover pieces we discovered we may have gotten our date announcement a little bit off! Turns out the dates for 2027 will be...
In all seriousness though, we had an offer from the Marriott to switch our dates to March. We made the decision to take the offer for the sake of getting us back to our usual timeframe, avoid some conflicts with staff, and move further from other nearby con dates.
We'd like to apologize for the bumpy start and hope that these new dates provide a better opportunity for more attendees to join us next year!
In the mean time we'll work on getting something better for our dragons to snack on!

ATTENTION MCFC Attendees:
Join us for MCFC 2027: Here There Be Dragons! in Detroit, MI - March 19-21, 2027!
We're returning to the RenCen and will have details for you as they come!
(Edit: No, you're not imaginging things (like dragons.) This did used to say February, but that has since changed! Please see the update announcement if you want to see why!)
Oh, what a convention that was. Now that you've had a day or so to rest and reflect on this past weekend, we'd love to hear about your MCFC 2026 experience! Or let us know if you have an interesting idea for next year.
Good or bad, let us know how your convention went:
We know, if feels just like staring at that loading screen, but we're almost there! It'll be time to Press Paws To Start very soon! We're just a week out from Opening Ceremonies at MCFC 2026! Are you ready? I think we're just about ready!
If you're new to these parts, here's a quick run-down...
Here's links to some important material. You don't have to memorize what's on them, just remember that they're there whenever you need them:
The "con badge" is your ticket for entry into all of the panels, events, Dealers Den, Artist Alley, gaming rooms, and all the other fun things happening at the convention.
To get a badge, first you need to register. If you didn't pre-reg before the convention, no worries: You can register online any time. In fact, you can do it from your phone while in line (if even there is a line.) Just so long as it's in by the time you get to the check-in desk!
You can pay with a charge card online, or a "cash" option will be available during the convention. Day passes will be available each day during the convention if you're only coming out for the day.
Just make sure to have it in before you arrive at the reg department check-in desk.
If you haven't been to MCFC before, badge pick-up is easy!
When you arrive on site, double check the schedule to make sure we're open then come to Registration. It's up on the 5th floor.
Then we'll just need to see your government issued ID. We'll match it in the system, and your badge will pop right up. No need to show us any confirmation emails or such; if you're in the system, we'll find you.
Then clip your badge to your sleeve for the rest of the weekend, and enjoy!
The registration department is open:
If you arrive outside those hours, pop into Con Operations (on the 4th floor.)
Alright, you're here! Now what?
Go run through that schedule of panels and events once more, and take note of anything that looks interesting to you!
If you can't decide, here's some don't-miss recommendatinos:
And while you're at it, check out everything else under the "At The Con" menu above.
Some people really like to try to plan out every moment of their convention, down to the minute (though that often doesn't seem to work out!) Some people like to plan nothing and go with the flow through the whole weekend. I suggest the middle ground: Note down the possibilities so you know what you could be doing at any moment, and then see where it takes you.
There's no wrong way to do it, so long as you're enjoying yourself!
If you need some help while you're at the convention, if you're a little turned around, or need some guidance on the schedule, come on over to Con Operations! We'll be happy to lend a hand.
If you need Security, that's in the same room. Don't hesitate to drop by if you need some help.
Both are available in the Greco room on the 4th floor.
We try our best to have everything locked in, but sometimes things change. If you want to stay up to date with all the goings-on, follow us on social media! We'll keep that up to date with any news that happens through the convention weekend:
This is also the best place to ask us questions during the convention. You can still send us an email but we'll all be running around making the convention happen, so we might not notice an email message right away!
And that's about it! Please reach out if you have any questions or need something clarified. We want to make this your best weekend evar!
See you soon!
Thank you so much for your patience, but we know this is what you've been waiting for! And now, the MCFC 2026 schedule is ready!
We won't bore you with the details, but we had to rearrange things at the last minute. But long story short, it's all good to go!
So open those calendar apps and start planning your weekend down to the minute:
And while you're at it, go explore the rest of the information we have online. Check out the "At the Con" menu above to see everything we have going on, including the new Accessibility information! Also plan your travel and find your way around in the "Location" menu, now featuring maps!
Edit: Also late breaking notes, Super Sponsor is now sold out! But you can still go for Sponsor if that's to your liking!
It's getting exciting. Can't wait to see you here!
